Commercial Valuation Surveyor Job Vacancy

Daniells Harrison Chartered Surveyors is an independent LLP offering a high standard of general practice, building surveying and architectural services across Southern England.

Due to business expansion in the Commercial Department, we are seeking a commercial valuation surveyor to strengthen our existing team based in our head office in Fareham, Hampshire.

Commercial Valuation Surveyor Job Description
Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with and undertaking commercial property valuations (including some residential work) for a variety of purposes including loan security, probate and purchase.
  • Undertaking rent reviews for both landlords and tenants
  • Carrying out property searches and acquisitions
  • Confident client liaison
  • Support to the Commercial Agency department when required
  • Promotion of the business through networking, some of which will be outside normal working hours.

The successful candidate must:

  • Possess a formal RICS qualification
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of commercial leases
  • Be an independent worker, capable of organising and prioritising their own workload and meeting deadlines
  • Be a team player, able to demonstrate a flexible attitude, good communication skills and a sense of humour.
  • Possess a full clean UK driving license
  • A background in commercial agency would be advantageous.
