Congratulations are in order for Annabelle Argent, one of our Chartered Surveyors, who has recently been appointed as a RICS Registered Valuer.
In order to receive the RICS accreditation, Annabelle had to assist us on a number of valuations over a set period and then enter a submission to RICS detailing her competence.
Annabelle is now able to carry out and sign-off Red Book valuations. The Red Book is issued by RICS to promote and support high standards in valuation delivery worldwide. The publication details mandatory practices for RICS members undertaking valuation services.
Annabelle’s appointment means we now have 10 RICS registered valuers working for us at Daniells Harrison, making us the largest independent firm of RICS Valuers in the South. She joins Chris, Richard, Rob, Alexandra, David Ponsford, David Wiggins, Andy, Steve and Julian offering both commercial and residential valuations across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Dorset, Sussex and further afield.
Why use a RICS Registered Valuer?
Valuation is one of the key RICS member practices. By being a RICS registered valuer we are part of a quality assurance mechanism that monitors all registered RICS members who carry out Red Book valuations and ensures consistent standards. In the words of RICS (the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors):
“By appointing an RICS registered valuer, you can be confident that you are working with regulated and qualified professionals who:
adhere to the Red Book valuation standards
are committed to openness and transparency
are experts in their field, delivering credible and high-quality reports.”
With Annabelle increasing our numbers we look forward to continued growth and offering even more of our clients a high-quality valuation services across the South of England.
