Work is underway to build an extension to the Wickham GP Surgery, housing a new NHS dental practice.
The designs were drawn up by Gary Wensley, Head of Architecture at DHCS. The original building was designed by Gary 10 years ago. The two-storey extension will consist of a self-contained dental practice on the ground floor with plans to use the first floor at a later date.
Planning consent for the dental surgery was granted at the end of January 2020. We are now submitting a Planning Application for a further extension (to the Gudgeon Wing) on the site to provide an additional 14 GP consulting rooms.
You can see the latest build photos below together with the elevation drawings for the Dental surgery and subsequent Gudgeon extension.
